Ordering and designing your frame

Everything we make is built to order in our New Jersey workshop, so the design step is where every frame begins.

Sizing and measuring

Custom sizing is our specialty. Measure once, enter to the eighth of an inch, and we cut the frame to match.

Frame styles and materials

We stock 82 frame profiles in solid wood, finished in our workshop and grouped by color so you can match a room or a style in a few clicks.

Acrylic glazing

Glazing is the clear sheet in front of the art. The right choice depends on size, lighting, and how the frame will be shipped or moved.

Mat boards

Mat board is the colored border between the art and the glazing. We stock 45 archival mat colors in our workshop and cut every opening to one-eighth of an inch.

Pricing

Live pricing is built into the designer so the number you see while you build the frame is the number you pay.

Production time and shipping

Every frame is made to order, so the timeline is production time plus carrier transit. Plan for about one to two weeks total in most cases.

Local pickup at the New Jersey workshop

Our workshop is open to local customers for pickup and drop-off, which saves shipping fees on large pieces and lets you see the frame in person.

Specialty framing

Beyond standard art and photo frames, we build dedicated designers for the projects picture framing actually exists to solve.

Returns, damage, and our quality guarantee

Custom-made does not mean no recourse. Every frame is backed by our craftsmanship guarantee and a same-week response to any issue.
